Western blot analysis of CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX using anti-CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX antibody (A00357-3). The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.
Lane 1: mouse lung tissue lysates.
After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a membrane. Then the membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (A00357-3) at a dilution of 1:1000 and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody (Catalog # BA1054). The signal is developed using ECL Plus Western Blotting Substrate (Catalog # AR1197). A specific band was detected for CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX at approximately 128,150 kDa. The expected band size for CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX is at 129 kDa.

CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX was detected in a paraffin-embedded section of mouse lung tissue. Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody. The tissue section was incubated with rabbit anti-CD11c/Integrin Alpha X/ITGAX Antibody (A00357-3) at a dilution of 1:200 and developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC) (Catalog # SA1022) with DAB (Catalog # AR1027) as the chromogen.

CD11c, also known as Integrin, alpha X (complement component 3 receptor 4 subunit) (ITGAX), is a genethat encodes for CD11c. This gene encodes the integrin alpha X chain protein. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte-specific integrin referred to as inactivated-C3b (iC3b) receptor 4 (CR4). The alpha X beta 2 complex seems to overlap the properties of the alpha M beta 2 integrin in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium cells, and in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
