Western blot analysis of anti-ENG/CD105 antibody (MA02997). The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.
Lane 1: human SiHa whole cell lysates.
After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a membrane. Then the membrane was incubated with mouse anti-ENG/CD105 antigen affinity purified monoclonal antibody (MA02997) and probed with a goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP secondary antibody (Catalog # BA1050). The signal is developed using ECL Plus Western Blotting Substrate (Catalog # AR1197). A specific band was detected for ENG/CD105 at approximately 95 kDa. The expected band size for ENG/CD105 is at 71 kDa.

背景资料

This gene encodes a homodimeric transmembrane protein which is a major glycoprotein of the vascular endothelium. This protein is a component of the transforming growth factor beta receptor complex and it binds TGFB1 and TGFB3 with high affinity. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, also known as Osler-Rendu-Weber syndrome 1, an autosomal dominant multisystemic vascular dysplasia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]
